Neil Bates
Director
Neil has specialised in the investigation and handling of liability claims for over 30 years, previously working for specialist liability divisions of two global loss adjusting practices and niche liability firms, before establishing Forensic Adjusting in 2022.
Neil has a wide range of experience across all classes of liability claims, including several high-profile incidents involving multiple fatalities and with expertise in dealing with medical malpractice/treatment risk claims in addition to industrial risks, the leisure industry, firework and events, liability risks in the equine sector and both EL/PL Covid-19 cases.
On a personal level, Neil enjoys spending time with his ever expanding family, in addition to attending football matches and playing golf.

Paul Rapley
Director
Paul has enjoyed working in the Insurance industry for over 35 years. His career started at a Local Insurance Brokers before progressing to a General Insurance Company where he initially commenced the handling and co-ordination of RTC claims. He subsequently began specialising in EL and PL claims within the same organisation. From there, Paul joined a global Loss Adjusting practice, before joining a prestigious firm of Solicitors, continuing to handle EL and PL claims moving towards Products Liability and litigation cases. Paul subsequently returned to a traditional Loss Adjusting practice before establishing Forensic Adjusting in 2022.
Today Paul continues to handle and investigate all types of Liability claims extending to complex muti-party cases and fatality incidents. On a regular basis Paul investigates and handles liability claims for the leisure and hospitality industries, whilst also having regular exposure to medical malpractice and treatment risk claims. These cases include beauty and advanced beauty therapy claims, as well as claims arising from aesthetic treatments, including cryotherapy, electrical facial treatments and cryolypolis cases. Aesthetic treatments cases include IPL/non-ablative laser, PDO threads and the full scope of injectable treatments which includes Botulinum Toxin and non-permanent Dermal Fillers claims. Paul also investigates and handles a wide variety of Products Liability cases.
On a personal level, Paul enjoys spending time with his family and regularly attends football matches and the theatre.
